About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Growth and Engagement to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the organization's future, with a focus on membership growth and retention, delivering industry-leading education, and maintaining financial strength. This role is pivotal in diversifying and growing non-dues and non-meetings revenue, as well as expanding the company's international presence. The VP GE will be responsible for strategic leadership, organizational stewardship, and will serve as a key spokesperson for the Association. Essential functions include partnering with the CEO to develop and implement business plans, providing executive leadership for membership and business development, and overseeing the Association's meetings and events portfolio. The role also involves leading the development of knowledge-based products and services, and providing executive oversight of the Association's Foundation. Candidates for the VP GE position should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience, and a proven track record in strategic planning, budget management, and revenue generation. The role requires a dynamic relationship-builder with strong project management skills, the ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution, and experience in international markets. Key competencies include strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and team development. The ideal candidate will be a consultative seller with marketing acumen, and possess excellent public speaking and communication skills. The position demands a high level of commitment, including regular travel and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
