About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Controller to join their dynamic team. This high-impact leadership role involves leading and developing a team within the fund accounting function, overseeing financial reporting and core accounting processes across multiple investment vehicles, and managing audit and tax coordination with external partners. The successful candidate will also be responsible for capital activity, investor reporting, and cash management, as well as supporting transaction closings and cross-functional initiatives. A key aspect of the role is to partner with senior leadership to enhance and streamline reporting processes. Applicants for the VP, Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in fund accounting, with a specific focus on private equity. Prior leadership or team management experience is essential, as is a strong understanding of investment structures and financial reporting. While not mandatory, previous public accounting experience and a CPA are considered a plus. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
