About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Medical Director of Women's Health to lead its multidisciplinary service line with a focus on system engagement, cultural cohesion, and patient-centered innovation. The successful candidate will be the top-ranking physician across women's health services, responsible for clinical, operational, and financial performance. This pivotal role requires a visionary and strategic leader who can shape and transform care delivery, educational offerings, and research collaborations. The EMD will be a strong advocate for patients and colleagues, with a critical emphasis on community engagement and health equity. They will design and guide clinical strategy, cultural alignment, and service line integration, operating within a dyad governance model and working closely with executive and clinical leaders. Candidates for the Executive Medical Director position should have a proven track record of leadership in an integrated health system, particularly in a highly complex, matrixed environment. The role demands outstanding communication skills and a leadership style that fosters trust, collaboration, and cohesion. The ideal candidate will be a system-thinking, momentum-oriented physician leader who thrives on influence, builds across disciplines, and leads by alignment. A commitment to a Just Culture and Worthy Leadership model is essential. The EMD will not operate in isolation but will be part of a high-accountability peer group and will be expected to be a visible and aligned leader within the organization.
