About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary and collaborative physician leader to take on the role of Division Chief in Endocrinology. The successful candidate will be the primary physician leader for Endocrinology, providing strategic leadership and oversight for a large team that includes 23 endocrinologists, two Ph.D.s, seven APPs, six fellows, and a staff of approximately 65. Responsibilities for the Division Chief include clinical program development, faculty recruitment, workforce development, and the growth of research and educational excellence within the Division. The role also involves guiding the design of care delivery to ensure consistency, efficiency, quality, safety, and excellence in Endocrinology. The Division Chief will lead research endeavors in close partnership with the academic partner, focusing on growing research capabilities and aligning with patient population needs. Candidates for the Division Chief position must be visible, inspiring leaders with a strong clinical practice presence. The role requires a passion for providing outstanding care, a desire to improve systems for efficiency, and the leadership ability to engage physicians in team-based care. The ideal candidate will have a history of building productive research programs and the ability to enhance research through recruitment and mentorship. A Doctor of Medicine (M.D./D.O.) degree, completion of a three-year fellowship in pediatric endocrinology, and Board Certification as a Pediatric Endocrinologist are essential. The Division Chief will be expected to craft a long-term vision for Endocrinology at the company and its academic partner, engaging and inspiring faculty to reach these goals while holding the team accountable.
