About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to be the driving force behind its diverse and dynamic business. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, responsible for the day-to-day operations of various core divisions, including civil, concrete, energy, drilling, crane, and equipment. This role demands a strategic operator with a strong focus on operational excellence, who can seamlessly transition from high-level strategy to on-the-ground execution. The COO will be tasked with building and executing the operations strategy, ensuring that the company's values of leading with heart, strength in unity, and a relentless drive to excel are upheld across all divisions and job sites. As the COO, you will be expected to lead with visibility, set performance standards, and champion a culture of innovation. The role also involves aligning the organization, owning performance, budgeting, and metrics, and leading talent development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years' in a senior executive role, and a proven track record in multi-site operations. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. The COO must possess strong strategic and systems thinking, exceptional leadership and team-building skills, high business acumen, and excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Industry certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are a bonus.
