About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead its fund accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulatory requirements, supervising accounting teams, and overseeing the monthly portfolio closing process. This role involves a high level of leadership, including the review and approval of financial statements, maintaining robust financial controls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The VP will also be expected to provide insights into fund performance, collaborate on strategic initiatives, and mentor accounting managers to foster professional growth and operational excellence. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years' experience in fund accounting or financial management. A preference is given to those with 14 years' experience in private equity or investment fund accounting. Expertise in U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance standards is essential, as is a proven track record in leadership, team management, and financial statement preparation. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at researching and applying technical accounting guidance and will have a proactive approach to driving impactful financial strategies.
