About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its IT/IS team and play a pivotal role in the integration and enhancement of technology services across its two campuses. The CTO will be responsible for managing a team of 5-6 IT/IS professionals, ensuring that technology operations are seamless and cohesive for the nearly 2,000 individuals on the school campuses. This includes full-time support roles and centralized services in network, systems, and database management. The successful candidate will also be a key partner to the instructional technology team, contributing to the all-school instructional technology strategy, and will be expected to have a strong background in large educational institutions, with a focus on interdisciplinary and innovation programs, particularly in technology, engineering, and design. The ideal CTO for the company will be a dynamic and skilled technology leader with a warm, high-EQ communication style, capable of building strong relationships and ensuring the delivery of outstanding technology service and support. While the role involves a significant strategic component, the primary focus for the first one or two years will be on the operational aspects, particularly in serving the needs of both campuses. The CTO will be expected to have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to the seamless integration of technology in the educational environment. A background in a similar role within a large educational institution is essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
