About the Role

The Company is in search of a President and CEO to lead its global team and shape the future of community-led development. Key responsibilities include leading the fundraising strategy, ensuring financial sustainability, and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of executive leadership experience, a deep commitment to community-led development, and a successful history of fundraising, including securing major gifts and developing grant proposals. They should be adept at managing complex, multi-country operations, and have a strong understanding of the issues affecting rural communities globally. The role also demands a leader who is a motivational storyteller, a strategic thinker, and a guardian of the organization's values and principles. Experience in nonprofit governance, financial stewardship, and leading through crises is essential. The candidate should be fluent in multiple languages, if possible, and be willing to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
