About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission-driven organization. The CEO will be responsible for the overall health, financial sustainability, and mission alignment of the organization, providing visionary strategic leadership and overseeing all administrative and program operations. This includes budgeting, regulatory compliance, community advocacy, and quality improvement. The successful candidate will be the public face of the organization, cultivating strong relationships with families, funders, and government partners, and championing equitable access to early support services. Internally, the CEO will manage the administrative leadership team, oversee outsourced partners, and ensure the organization's values of compassion, empowerment, equity, stewardship, and excellence are upheld at all levels. Candidates for the CEO position should have a background in executive leadership, with a strong business acumen and experience in sectors relevant to the organization's work, such as early childhood support, healthcare, or family services. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development, be data-driven in decision-making, and have the ability to lead with compassion, empathy, and high emotional intelligence. Experience with federal and state Medicaid program management is highly valued. The role requires a leader who is innovative, creative, and inclusive, yet decisive when necessary, and who can foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where every child and family feels supported.
