About the Role

The Company is in need of a VP of People Services to join their team. This executive-level role is pivotal in setting and executing the overall HR strategy while maintaining a strong connection to day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be a key partner to senior leadership, driving culture, organizational effectiveness, and long-term workforce planning. Responsibilities include leading the HR function, serving as an advisor on organizational design, and overseeing all HR activities such as employee relations, compliance, talent development, and total rewards. The role also involves providing direction on complex employee relations matters, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a people-first, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture. Applicants for the VP of People Services position at the company should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 10-15+ years of progressive HR leadership, including executive-level responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading HR strategy, deep expertise in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development, and experience in advising senior leadership. Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills are essential, as is proficiency with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office. An HR certification is preferred, and experience in a nonprofit or people services environment is a plus.
