About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Management Company Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing detailed expense reporting, financial analysis, and budget management. This role involves building and managing the firm's comprehensive budget and long-range financial forecasts, as well as creating and maintaining bottoms-up forecasts by fund. The VP will also be tasked with designing and maintaining firmwide compensation tracking and analytical reporting, and will partner closely with the CFO and COO to standardize and consolidate compensation data. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include providing analytical support for compensation and expense benchmarking initiatives, conducting monthly in-depth reviews of the Management Company's financial statements, and producing various analytical reports for the CEO. The role also requires the preparation of detailed employee compensation summaries and the ownership of allocation methodologies to ensure equitable treatment across investor groups. Collaboration with the Fund Finance team on special projects and ad hoc analyses is an essential part of the position. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on management company accounting. A deep understanding of budget oversight, financial forecasting, and expense reporting is essential. The role demands a strategic thinker who can partner with senior executives and lead the design and maintenance of compensation tracking and reporting. Experience in conducting financial reviews, producing analytical reports, and managing special projects is also required. A proactive approach to refining allocation methodologies and a collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams are key attributes for the role.
