About the Role

The Company is in need of an Assistant Vice President for Investment Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating transaction documentation into precise accounting records that adhere to economic terms and reporting standards. This role involves the timely processing of various investment activities, including recording proceeds, credit events, restructurings, amendments, and exits. The AVP will also be tasked with managing cash movements through intricate entity structures, ensuring proper accounting treatment across systems, and coordinating funding activities while monitoring liquidity needs. Operational leadership is a key aspect of the position, requiring the establishment of service standards, performance metrics, and process improvements, as well as the guidance of team members. Applicants must have the ability to manage deal-related accounting entries, cash activity, and operational workflows within investment structures. Previous experience with specialized accounting systems for alternative asset reporting is essential, as is a strong analytical skill set for identifying inefficiencies, mitigating risks, and supporting continuous improvements. The role demands effective communication with cross-functional teams, external partners, and leadership, as well as the ability to oversee multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a CPA designation, and a background in alternative assets such as private credit, real assets, syndicated loans, private equity, or structured finance are required. The ideal candidate will have over 9 years' experience in investment accounting or financial operations within asset management or related industries, and be proficient in analytical tools and accounting platforms, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data-driven applications.
