About the Role

Responsibilities include generating private donations to support the College's various needs, managing the foundation's endowment and assets, and staying abreast of current fundraising practices in the education sector. The role also involves developing and managing annual giving programs, donor relations, and stewardship, as well as researching and applying for grants and public funding. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Educational Foundation should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in nonprofit management and development. Experience in data analytics, database management, and reporting, particularly in a higher education or comparable organization, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the local and regional philanthropic and business community, and experience with scholarship processes in a postsecondary foundation. The role demands a strategic planner who can work closely with the Foundation Board and the College President, and who is adept at managing the organization's day-to-day operations, budget, and staff. The Executive Director will also be responsible for external communications, public affairs, and special projects as directed by the College President.
