About the Role
The Company is in search of an AVP, Product Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing financial controls in various product areas, driving process enhancements for financial and regulatory reporting, and preparing financial statements. This role also involves recording journal entries, investigating and resolving breaks, supporting regulatory filings, and coordinating external audits. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years' of relevant experience, with a background in Big 4 public accounting and a focus on financial services clients. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of organization are essential. A CPA is required, or the candidate must have passed 4 parts of the CPA exam. Applicants for the AVP, Product Controller position at the company should be adept at analyzing financial results, and trends, and partnering with other departments on financial analyses and controls. The role also includes contributing to vendor risk management and participating in ad hoc projects. The candidate will be expected to have a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
