About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Credit Risk Manager for Commercial Real Estate Lending. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing second-line credit approval and portfolio governance, with a strong focus on local commercial real estate transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the regional credit team, managing workflow priorities, and ensuring the soundness and policy adherence of credit submissions. A key aspect of the role is the evaluation of smaller-ticket commercial real estate opportunities, including various asset types, and the management of classified assets and recovery strategies. The role also involves supervising management reporting, coordinating audits and examinations, and mentoring junior credit professionals. Applicants for this role at The Company should be fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written, and have a background in relationship-driven banking environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong approval authority experience and be adept at providing final recommendations and approval decisions within delegated lending authority guidelines. Responsibilities also include overseeing annual reviews, renewals, and modifications for existing borrowers, as well as managing criticized credits and workouts. The role requires a proactive approach to portfolio monitoring and the ability to work in coordination with outside counsel when necessary. The Senior Credit Risk Manager will play a critical part in the company's regional lending business, ensuring the integrity and performance of the commercial real estate portfolio.
