This strategic financial leader will work closely with the founders to drive growth, funding, and business milestones, and will be instrumental in guiding the company's financial journey from early stage to potential expansion, acquisition, or public offering. The ideal candidate will have a background in the automotive or manufacturing industry, with hands-on experience in SaaS or hardware product financial operations, and a proven track record of supporting funding rounds, acquisitions, or IPOs. Strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative skills are essential, as is the ability to implement scalable financial systems and processes. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have experience as a #2 under a CFO or as head of finance/controller at a small company. Desired skills include startup experience in technology or robotics, familiarity with SaaS business models or hardware commercialization, and expertise in financial modeling and forecasting for growth-stage companies. The role is well-suited to a candidate who is adept at managing ambiguity and rapid change, and who is eager to influence the financial aspects of a disruptive product. The successful candidate will be responsible for 70% of their time on financial operations, 20% on strategic planning, and 10% on team collaboration, with a daily breakdown of 60% hands-on, 20% management duties, and 20% team collaboration.
