About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Financial Operations to serve as a senior leader with a focus on the integrity, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of enterprise financial services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the core financial operations, including the University Controller’s Office, Treasury, Research Compliance & Operations, and Management Accounting & Analysis. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial stewardship and strategic direction, and the VPFO will be expected to partner closely with executive leadership to support institutional strategy, financial sustainability, and operational excellence. Applicants for the Vice President for Financial Operations position at the company should have a proven track record in a senior financial management role, preferably within a complex, decentralized environment. The role requires a leader who can drive financial strategy, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. A deep understanding of financial operations in a research or academic setting is highly desirable. A Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required, along with a professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
