About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities to lead its real estate strategy in support of the organization's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for executive leadership in real estate development, asset management, and facilities operations, ensuring the long-term performance and sustainability of the real estate portfolio. This role involves overseeing a multi-year pipeline of construction and preservation projects, fostering relationships with funders, investors, and regulators, and providing strategic and operational oversight of capital planning. The VP will also be tasked with maintaining compliance with LIHTC and other affordable housing programs, as well as leading a team to address safety, code compliance, and risk management issues. Applicants for the Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years' experience in real estate development, asset management, or facilities management, particularly in affordable housing environments. A strong background in public and affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, and experience with a range of financing programs is essential. The role requires a proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, strong leadership and management skills, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. A Master’s degree and experience in environmental review processes, construction requirements, and working in mission-driven or nonprofit housing organizations are also desirable.
