About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice in support of a significant U.S. development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, environmental and permitting issues, and litigation oversight. This role requires the ability to advise on risk management, governance, and business-critical decisions, as well as the drafting, review, and negotiation of various agreements. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be expected to partner closely with operations, leadership, and external stakeholders, and to deliver practical, business-oriented solutions in a fast-moving environment. Applicants for the Senior Corporate Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' legal experience, with a background in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or natural resources sectors strongly preferred. The role demands experience in regulatory, environmental, or administrative law matters, and a strong commercial acumen with the ability to advise senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to operate independently in a broad, generalist role and be licensed to practice law in the U.S. or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
