About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Accounting to serve as a senior finance leader with a focus on GL, financial reporting, compliance, and treasury. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, transparency, and strategic oversight of the organization's financial operations. This includes maintaining best-in-class accounting practices, regulatory compliance, and treasury management. The role also involves providing financial leadership and oversight, optimizing close processes, and serving as a key advisor to the executive team on financial matters. The Vice President, Accounting will lead a high-performing team, foster collaborative relationships, and drive process and systems transformation to enhance financial stewardship. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA certification and an MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in public accounting and 5 years in a leadership role, is required. Experience in a large nonprofit with complex funding structures and a strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements are essential. The role demands a candidate with proven experience in financial reporting, treasury, and audits, as well as a track record of process improvement and transformation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
