The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading the strategy, systems, and relationships that drive major, planned, and annual giving. This role is pivotal in setting a donor-centered vision, overseeing gift administration and recognition, and enhancing community engagement to align philanthropic efforts with the company's mission and strategic priorities. The CDO will also be at the forefront of a significant capital campaign, focusing on two major institutional expansion plans, and will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that fundraising activities are in harmony with the company's goals. Applicants for the CDO position at the company should have a proven track record in fostering a culture of philanthropy, aligning philanthropic efforts with organizational strategy, and growing a donor base. The role requires an inspiring and visible leader who can engage the development team and staff, as well as collaborate with the Foundation Board and other stakeholders.
