About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Product Development to spearhead the end-to-end innovation process for its consumer packaged goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the product development strategy, ensuring that it is in line with the company's growth, brand positioning, and portfolio priorities. This role demands a leader who can translate consumer insights, market trends, and commercial needs into actionable product roadmaps, and who will oversee all phases of development from concept to launch. The VP will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing product development and R&D organization, fostering a culture of creativity, and ensuring that the products meet regulatory, food safety, and quality standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in product development and innovation within consumer packaged goods, with a proven track record of launching successful products at scale. The role requires a strong blend of consumer insight, technical development, cross-functional leadership, and operational execution. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience at the Director or VP level, a strong understanding of formulation, packaging, manufacturing, and supply chain constraints, and excellent executive-level communication and cross-functional influence skills. A background in food, beverage, beauty, personal care, or health and wellness CPG categories is preferred, as is an MBA or advanced technical degree in a related field.
