About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President to spearhead its financial strategy and facilities operations. The successful candidate will be a visionary financial strategist with a deep commitment to mission-driven healthcare, particularly in the context of serving Alaska Native and American Indian communities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of resources that directly support the organization's mission, with a focus on comprehensive health and related services. The CFO/EVP will be responsible for overseeing all critical financial functions, including strategic financial planning, revenue cycle and strategy, budgeting, accounting, treasury management, and procurement, to maintain fiscal stability and integrity. Additionally, the role involves the strategic management of the company's extensive facilities, ensuring that the infrastructure supports high-quality healthcare delivery and accommodates the organization's ongoing expansion. Candidates for this executive position should have a proven track record in financial management, stewardship, and developing strategies to increase revenue. A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for CPA or CMA certification. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of progressive experience in healthcare financial management, including revenue cycle management and development, and a strong background in leading and mentoring high-performing teams. While tribal healthcare experience is not mandatory, a deep understanding of Alaska Native and American Indian cultures, as well as a passion for the mission of nonprofit healthcare, is essential. The role demands a leader who can drive strategic financial planning, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and build strong partnerships both within the organization and with external stakeholders.
