About the Role

The Company is seeking a President to lead its mission of strengthening economic growth, advocating for systemic equity and inclusion, and collaborating towards sustainable regional prosperity. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, innovative, and action-oriented leader with a professional foundation that includes an undergraduate degree (master's preferred), experience in coalition building, data-driven decision-making, and a proven track record in managing organizational budgets, teams, and strategic plans. Interpersonal qualities should include a facilitative leadership style, effective communication, high emotional intelligence, and a values-based, ethical approach. The President will be responsible for shaping and operationalizing the vision of the membership, representing the organization in various fora, and leading strategic programming to engage the next generation of leadership. Strategically, the ideal candidate will have a strong orientation towards finding solutions that enable the region to thrive, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a passion for civic and community engagement. The role requires a leader who can inspire others to action, is adept at finding common ground among competing priorities, and is motivated by the long-term impact on the region. The President will work closely with the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors to drive initiatives that move the region forward in the global economy, and must be prepared to make significant, long-term contributions to the economic, cultural, and philanthropic potential of the area.
