About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership for its commercial facilities services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale field operations in a high-intensity, weather-driven service environment, ensuring disciplined execution, workforce alignment, and scalable systems to support rapid growth. This hands-on executive will be expected to build credibility in the field, guide operational transformation, and drive process standardization, particularly during unpredictable, emergency-style events. Key responsibilities include executive oversight of day-to-day operational performance, leading non-route-based operational activities, and overseeing workforce planning and operational coordination for large-acreage service delivery. Applicants must have a minimum of ten years' operational leadership experience in field-based, high-pressure environments, with a proven track record of leading teams through urgent and composure-filled situations. A hands-on leadership approach, the ability to maintain field presence during peak seasonal operations, and experience in scaling operations across multiple sites are essential. The role requires a leader with a strong alignment to values centered on urgency, ownership, and follow-through, as well as outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, and a proactive, analytical problem-solving ability. A business or construction-related degree is preferred, and familiarity with structured leadership and meeting frameworks is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking mindset, be comfortable with calculated risk-taking, and be capable of leading difficult conversations to maintain accountability.
