About the Role

The Company is in need of a BSA Officer to take on a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing its Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering compliance program. The successful candidate will be the primary compliance lead for the branch, with a focus on implementing and maintaining a robust AML and sanctions compliance program. Key responsibilities include ensuring daily compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, providing expertise on risk mitigation controls, delivering compliance training, and supporting regulatory change management. The role also involves overseeing various monitoring activities, preparing compliance reports, and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external regulators. Applicants for the BSA Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of 4 years' of BSA/AML/CTF/OFAC compliance experience in financial services. A CAMS certification or equivalent AML training is strongly preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and AML/sanctions frameworks, as well as experience in regulatory reporting, investigations, or compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and risk management skills, and the ability to work independently in a regulated environment. This is a hands-on, branch-based leadership role that demands a high level of visibility and responsibility in AML and sanctions oversight.
