The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, including operations, culture, values, talent, and financial performance, and must be adept at fundraising, with the ability to cultivate relationships and secure support from a variety of sources. The ideal Executive Director for the company will be an authentic ambassador and community builder, with a proven track record of working with diverse populations and a deep understanding of the issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. They should be a visionary leader, familiar with best practices in the field, and have a strong data and analysis orientation to drive decision-making. A background in program management, evaluation, and continuous improvement is essential, as is experience in managing a budget and operating a financially sound organization. The role demands a leader with unquestionable integrity, honesty, and values, who can be trusted without reservation, and who is dedicated to the mission of the organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and nonprofit certification is a plus.
