About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts in support of educational equity, innovation, and excellence. The successful candidate will be the primary fundraiser, community ambassador, and organizational leader, with a focus on mobilizing community investment to fund programs and services that enhance the learning opportunities for all students. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to bridge the gap between community generosity and student opportunity, particularly in a diverse and resource-rich community. The Executive Director will be responsible for fundraising and donor development, community presence and relationship building, district partnership and institutional navigation, people management, financial planning, and strategic visioning. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will be a relational, community-oriented leader with a proven track record in major gift fundraising and exceptional relationship-building skills. They should have senior nonprofit leadership experience, be adept at financial management, and have a strong commitment to fostering a healthy workplace culture. The role requires the ability to navigate complex institutional partnerships, particularly with a large public or nonprofit institution, and a demonstrated commitment to cross-cultural relationship building. Familiarity with public education and a willingness to invest in learning the local philanthropic and school district landscape are also essential. The Executive Director will work closely with the board of directors, the superintendent, and other stakeholders to set and achieve ambitious goals, and to ensure the long-term financial health of the organization.
