About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as its chief executive officer and primary strategic and operational leader. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Board of Directors to advance the organization's mission and ensure long-term financial sustainability. This role involves guiding all aspects of the company's administrative, marketing, financial, and programmatic functions, with a focus on developing comprehensive business and operating plans. The Executive Director will also be responsible for designing and implementing a dynamic booking strategy that maximizes facility usage, attracts broad audiences, and elevates the company's brand and visibility. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include overseeing operational policies and procedures, fostering a welcoming and accessible environment, and leading a comprehensive fundraising initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the performing arts or nonprofit sector, with a proven track record in theatre and facilities management, audience development, fundraising, and financial oversight. They should be a highly interactive and people-oriented leader, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders. The role requires a commitment to equity, inclusion, and access, as well as the ability to work effectively with artists, audiences, and community partners. The Executive Director will also be responsible for team leadership, organizational development, and ensuring that the company's programming reflects a wide range of artistic disciplines and cultural diversity.
