About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as a visionary leader and change agent, dedicated to the empowerment of girls. The CEO will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic direction, overseeing all operations, and maintaining strong visibility as a brand ambassador. This role requires a deep understanding of the issues facing girls today and the ability to leverage data to nurture strategic relationships and ensure growth in volunteer and membership engagement. The successful candidate will partner with staff to lead change initiatives, execute the strategic plan, and spearhead business strategies that align with the organization's mission and values. Key responsibilities for the CEO include strategic leadership, fundraising, financial management, program and product development, and talent and team development. The ideal candidate will have a background in executive leadership within the community impact or nonprofit industry, with a proven track record in vision, collaboration, leadership, finance, and fund development. They should be team-oriented, results-driven, and passionate about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. The role also involves working in partnership with the Board of Directors, ensuring the organization's voice is represented at all levels, and fostering a culture of engagement and empowerment. The CEO will be expected to travel throughout the region to meet with various stakeholders and should be prepared to lead with a bold, future-focused mindset.
