About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Biometrics to lead and shape the biometrics function with a strategic and hands-on approach. The successful candidate will be the senior-most biometrics leader, responsible for defining and executing the biometrics strategy across the portfolio, delivering high-quality statistical outputs for clinical development and global regulatory submissions, and establishing scalable infrastructure and processes. This role requires a deep expertise in clinical trial methodology, advanced statistical techniques, and a strong background in supporting regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities. The individual will also be accountable for leading a team, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant field, with a PhD preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in biometrics within the pharma or biotech industry. Technical expertise in CDISC standards, SAS and/or R programming, and experience with adaptive designs and advanced statistical analyses is essential. The role demands a strategic, hands-on leader with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment, and have a high ownership mindset with the ability to build and drive continuous improvement. Success in this role will be measured by the establishment of a scalable biometrics strategy, consistent high-quality outputs, and the ability to improve timeline predictability and support future pipeline growth.
