About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chair of Medicine to provide strategic and operational leadership for its internal medicine services and subspecialties. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a strong focus on advancing the organization's academic and clinical missions. This pivotal role involves leading the expansion of clinical programs, enhancing quality and performance metrics, and fostering alignment among faculty and community physicians. The Chair will also be instrumental in mentoring physician leaders and promoting a collaborative, patient-centered culture. As the Chair of Medicine, the role is to guide the development of the company's newly launched ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Transitional Year Program, ensuring excellence in medical education, clinical training, and scholarly activity. The ideal candidate will be a visionary clinician-educator, capable of shaping the future of medicine within the dynamic and growing health system. The position is particularly significant as the company prepares to serve as a clinical training site for third- and fourth-year medical students, further solidifying its commitment to education and community health. The Chair will play a central role in this expansion, with a focus on internal medicine, surgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, psychiatry, emergency medicine, and more.
