About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President to lead its Foundation in a pivotal role that combines strategic operations with a focus on fundraising. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and partnering with the Board of Trustees, driving the Foundation's mission, and serving as the primary external brand ambassador. This role demands a bold and visionary leader with a proven track record in relationship-building, fundraising, and team leadership. The EVP will be tasked with raising $20M over the next 5 years, including the development and execution of successful fundraising initiatives, and will play a key role in the strategic direction and success of the Foundation, particularly in the context of the Florida 2030 Blueprint and the launch of the Florida 2040 Blueprint. Candidates for the Executive Vice President position should have at least 10 years of leadership experience in a relevant field, with a strong background in fundraising and a passion for the principles of free enterprise. Essential responsibilities include driving the Foundation's messaging, leveraging data and research, and ensuring the success of major statewide events. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex information into compelling messages. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to meet financial goals, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively manage the Foundation's operations. The EVP will also be expected to collaborate with other organizations to support the goals of the Florida 2030 Blueprint and to ensure that the Foundation's activities are aligned with the strategic vision for the future of Florida.
