About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Private Equity Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis of private equity and private credit platforms, evaluating investment strategies, and assessing fund-level and manager-level risk. This role involves preparing detailed credit memoranda, approving credit limits, and monitoring the portfolio for risk management. The VP will also be involved in assessing credit risk across various fund structures and products, as well as engaging with internal stakeholders on new product approvals and strategic initiatives. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and typically 8-12+ years of experience in credit risk, private equity, private credit, or fund finance. A strong knowledge of private market investment strategies, fund structures, and leverage is essential, with a preference for those with experience in BDCs, asset managers, and registered fund vehicles. The role requires excellent analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced, judgment-driven environment. The VP will also be expected to contribute to policy development, process enhancements, and risk framework improvements.
