About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join its senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's financial strategy, operations, and long-term sustainability. This role involves leading all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, audit, and compliance. The Head of Finance will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of the organization, strengthening financial systems and infrastructure, and enabling the delivery of the company's mission and strategic ambitions. Key responsibilities also include providing strategic financial guidance, overseeing financial risk management, and partnering with senior leadership and the Board to support the company's evolving business model and diversified revenue base. The ideal candidate for the Head of Finance position at the company will have a hands-on and strategic approach, with a proven track record in leading financial operations within complex, mission-driven organizations. The role requires a leader with deep technical expertise, at least 12 years' of experience in financial management, and a strong background in nonprofit accounting, GAAP, and grant management. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, a strong executor, and a collaborative leader with excellent communication skills. Experience in managing and developing finance teams, as well as a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (advanced degree preferred) and a CPA, are essential. The Head of Finance will also be expected to have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment, and to be adaptable and solutions-oriented in a dynamic and evolving environment.
