About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial operations across its diverse entities. The successful candidate will be a seasoned and hands-on financial executive, capable of managing the complexity of a sophisticated mix of entities, trusts, investments, and philanthropic structures. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading internal accounting personnel, managing external relationships with a range of financial and legal professionals, overseeing all aspects of cash flow, liquidity planning, and capital allocation, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial and tax reporting. The role demands a strategic and operational finance leader with a strong background in GAAP, and the ability to provide both high-level insight and hands-on execution. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred, and at least 25 years' of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex entities and be adept at both strategic and tactical financial management. High levels of discretion, judgment, and trustworthiness are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders. The CFO will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with a range of financial and regulatory requirements, including those related to trades, philanthropic and political contributions, and conflict-of-interest.
