About the Role

The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through a pivotal and complex period in healthcare. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, relational, and courageous leader, responsible for guiding the Association and its staff in advocacy and policy work. This role is particularly challenging and consequential, as it involves addressing both acute and chronic issues in the healthcare landscape, including funding reductions, workforce shortages, and rising healthcare costs. The President will be expected to be a superb leader and communicator, capable of unifying and advancing the collective voice of the Association's members. Building strategic relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including elected officials and partner organizations, is essential. Candidates for the President and Chief Executive Officer position at the company should be strategic executives with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. The role requires a leader who is passionate about the current challenges and complexities of healthcare and is committed to advocating for accessible, quality healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a national reputation for association excellence, be a highly visible and innovative leader, and provide a clear, consistent, and influential voice for all members. Collaboration, efficiency, and a service-obsessed approach are key attributes for the role. The President will be expected to work closely with the Board of Trustees, member organizations, and other stakeholders to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
