About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Construction Management to join its Design & Construction team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned, institutionally trained project manager with a proven track record of independently managing a range of projects, from tenant fit-outs to major capital initiatives. This role requires hands-on oversight of design consultants, schedules, and budgets across a portfolio of active office and residential projects, ensuring consistent reporting and accountability. The VP will be responsible for project oversight, pre-construction activities, and maintaining complete project documentation. They will also be involved in draw management, construction finance, scheduling, permitting, and risk management, as well as tenant and stakeholder coordination. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years' construction management experience, with a preference for those with some owner-side or owner's representative experience. The role demands a candidate with a strong command of construction scheduling, cost reporting, and change order management, and familiarity with Yardi is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, execution-focused, and possess the technical depth to review drawings, evaluate schedules, and challenge pricing and change orders. They should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, have a proactive communication style, and demonstrate sound independent judgment. A collaborative instinct and an ownership mentality, with a commitment to delivering projects on time and to the company's standards, are essential.
