About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's next chapter. The CHRO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, leading the people strategies, culture, and organizational capabilities necessary to advance the organization's ambitious vision. This includes guiding the organization through a period of leadership transition, evolving strategic priorities, and the impact of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, on the future of work. The ideal candidate will be an HR expert and workforce innovator, with a proven background in all aspects of the HR function, a strong understanding of employment law, and a strategic mindset that is data-driven and focused on the mission. They should also be a trusted partner and enterprise strategist, with a track record of providing HR counsel to senior leadership and a commitment to fostering a culture of care, belonging, and high performance. Key responsibilities for the CHRO include serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and the executive team, developing and executing workforce plans, and ensuring the organization's values and culture are upheld. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the design of talent management strategies, oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensure that HR policies and programs are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. They will also be responsible for managing the organization's office operations and engaging with the Board of Directors on executive compensation and benefits. The role demands a leader who can operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment, and who is adept at managing organizational and business complexity. The CHRO will be a key figure in the organization's mission to end hunger, and as such, a commitment to the values and goals of the organization is essential.
