About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to take on a pivotal role in the development and management of its information security program. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for the creation and maintenance of comprehensive security policies and procedures, as well as ensuring the program's effectiveness in the face of audits and compliance requirements. This role is particularly suited to individuals with a proven track record in information security leadership, ideally within regulated environments, and a strong ability to build security programs from the ground up. The ACIO/CISO will also be involved in succession planning and may have the opportunity to serve as an Interim CIO. Key responsibilities for the ACIO/CISO include leading the security governance framework, providing direction to the IT security team, and collaborating with IT leadership to ensure alignment. The role demands excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a resource-constrained, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of security tools and be adept at guiding teams in their use. A critical aspect of the position is the ability to ensure rapid incident response and be present onsite as needed.
