About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide overall leadership and vision for the organization. The CEO will be responsible for executing the Board's vision, spearheading a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan, and serving as the main face and voice of the Mission to the public. This role involves leading major fundraising initiatives, community education, grant applications, and donor relations. Internally, the CEO will oversee the administration of the Mission's programs, the finance department, and the day-to-day supervision of all personnel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' of comparable leadership experience, with specific experience in a homeless shelter setting, and a strong educational background, including a Bachelor's degree and preferably a graduate degree in business and/or administration. The successful CEO will be a strategic thinker, capable of diversifying revenue and guiding ongoing projects, while also being a highly relational, pastoral presence. They must be dedicated to the Christian mission of the organization, providing a strong Christ-like example, and upholding the highest ethical standards. Personal characteristics should include a pastoral personality with a shepherd's heart, deep humility, social awareness, kindness, and compassion. The role requires a leader who can build trust with staff, the Board, local churches, and the public, and who is dedicated to serving the community and the Mission's clientele with fairness and a passion for Christ's heart for people.
