About the Role
The Company is in search of a Medical Director Infectious Disease Physician for its outpatient healthcare center and wellness clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care, meeting productivity standards, and collaborating with the care team to support patient well-being. This role involves managing a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift, overseeing patient scheduling, and delivering primary care services for a range of chronic and acute conditions, including but not limited to, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD, and various infectious diseases. The Medical Director will also be expected to supervise mid-level providers, provide after-hours on-call coverage, and maintain AAHIVM certification. Applicants must have an MD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license, valid DEA registration, and a Furnishing License. Outpatient primary care experience is essential, as is the ability to manage 14-18 patients daily in a supported environment. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable with a diverse patient load and is dedicated to the mission of serving the local community. Essential qualifications include the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team, and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care and safety.
