About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to serve as its chief legal officer and a key strategic advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on the intersection of law, institutional policy, and strategic leadership. This role requires a collaborative and strategic leader with a minimum of 15 years of broad-based legal experience, including a proven track record of leading teams and advising senior executives. Experience in the areas of technology, higher education, and the creative arts, particularly in relation to institutional policies, data protection and compliance, and third-party partnerships, is highly valued. The General Counsel will play a central role in the legal aspects of the company's diverse educational programs and associated activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the innovative curriculum that blends contemporary and classical training with emerging technology and creative entrepreneurship. Responsibilities include providing legal guidance on a wide range of issues, from program development to business and cultural initiatives. The role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's legal strategies align with its mission and values, and in fostering a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making.
