About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President and General Counsel to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and trusted legal executive, providing clear and actionable legal guidance to the executive committee, Board of Directors, and senior leaders. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of the healthcare landscape, with a focus on delivering strategic legal insight that supports the organization's growth objectives, innovation priorities, and long-term strategic goals. The General Counsel will also have executive oversight of the Internal Audit function, ensuring strong governance, internal controls, and risk management practices across the enterprise. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should be seasoned legal leaders with a proven track record in complex healthcare organizations. The role demands outstanding academic credentials, including a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and a minimum of ten years' of experience in supporting healthcare providers. Expertise in healthcare regulation, contracting, physician alignment, transactions, and litigation is essential. The ideal candidate will have prior executive-level leadership experience, particularly in the oversight of internal audit, enterprise risk, or compliance functions, and a strong preference is given to those who have successfully leveraged technology and operational improvements. The General Counsel will be responsible for leading and developing a team of legal and internal audit professionals, with a key priority on strengthening a high-performing, collaborative, and solutions-oriented function.
