About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Patient Care and Prevention Facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the management and provision of all space and properties in support of patient care and prevention facilities. This includes overseeing maintenance operations, alterations, housekeeping, and repair of buildings to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards. The role involves coordinating day-to-day operations, collaborating with facilities planning and design for project management, and ensuring that the facilities meet the requirements of the Joint Commission. The AVP will also be involved in budget preparation, and staff management, and will work closely with the leadership team to achieve program priorities and objectives. Candidates for the Associate Vice President position must have a Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, including 5 years in a management role, is required, with a preference for those with 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, higher education, or research institution facilities management. Essential skills include the ability to create a safe and compliant environment, provide excellent customer service, and demonstrate social and emotional intelligence. The role also requires a high level of professionalism, drive, and the ability to influence and lead a team.
