About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic and financial leader, ensuring the organization's fiscal integrity and sound financial management in line with its mission and governing bylaws. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, providing actionable insights to the CEO and Board of Directors, monitoring investment performance, and managing reporting and analysis. This role requires a collaborative and results-driven individual who can shape financial strategy, drive organizational growth, and make a meaningful contribution to the company's mission. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a CPA or MBA in finance or a related field, with a preference for those with an actuarial background. A minimum of 10 years' experience in business, finance, or insurance is required, with a preference for candidates from insurance or financial services organizations. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, an understanding of ledger and investment systems, and familiarity with statutory accounting are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing materials and presenting to a Board, and while not mandatory, experience with fraternal organizations is a plus. The CFO will also be responsible for leading and developing finance and accounting staff, ensuring that financial operations align with the organization's goals.
