About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and vision in support of its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and achieving the organization's strategic goals and objectives, maintaining transparent communication with the Board of Directors, and fostering a culture of openness and accountability. The CEO will also lead the development and implementation of a strategic vision that aligns with the company's role as a customer service-oriented administrator. Key duties include identifying transformational opportunities, managing relationships with the FCC and other stakeholders, and ensuring the integrity and transparency of the company's programs. This role requires a leader with a strong background in a commercial enterprise, government agency, military service, nonprofit, association, or foundation, and a proven track record of managing complex programs subject to public oversight. The ideal candidate will have at least 11 years' of executive experience, including a minimum of 5 years' in leadership roles, and a history of building and leading high-performing, diverse teams. Essential skills include outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to integrity, transparency, and public service. While not mandatory, experience in the telecommunications industry and with the FCC is highly valued. The CEO will be expected to operate in a highly visible, regulated environment and must be adept at balancing and accommodating competing interests and perspectives.
