About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its global coalition of women's rights activists. The CEO will be responsible for senior leadership, strategic planning, and public engagement, with a focus on advancing the mission of ending violence against all women and girls through the promotion of international law. This role demands a leader who is deeply aligned with feminist values, capable of sharing power, and committed to the principles of equity, transparency, and collective action. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred, and at least 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, campaign leadership, and communications, particularly in the context of women's and human rights. Key responsibilities for the CEO include external relationship-based fundraising, internal strategy development, and serving as the public face and storyteller for the organization. The role is highly demanding, with a significant focus on both external and internal engagement, and requires a candidate who can demonstrate a strong track record in all areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to secure major media attention, engage supporters through social media, and effectively communicate the mission and impact of the organization. They must also be prepared to work flexible hours, including the possibility of international travel, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. The CEO will lead a team of 10 individuals and must be adept at leading in a way that is responsive to the diverse cultural and power dynamics of the global coalition.
