About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for NAV Control. The successful candidate will be tasked with directing the preparation of the NAV, partner capital allocations, and net asset values for the funds under management. This key role within the finance and accounting department involves managing the monthly accounting close process, coordinating with administrators, and ensuring the accuracy of fund accounting, reporting, and analysis. The AVP will also be responsible for reviewing fund governing documents, balance sheet reconciliations, and transaction documents, as well as overseeing partner capital investment accounts and related party transactions. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to interact directly with senior management and third-party administrators. Applicants for the Associate Vice President position at the company should have a background in accounting or finance, with a preference for those holding a CPA license or a Master's degree. A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly in private equity or hedge fund accounting, is required. The role demands a professional with the ability to interpret and apply analysis to complex legal documents and financial transactions, and who is adept at managing and modifying accounting and financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and be capable of leading special projects and presentations. Experience in investor relations, compliance, and a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines are also key qualifications for this position.
