About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to join their team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and seasoned leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience in operations management, particularly in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across all departments, managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing practices. The VP of Operations will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations, overseeing the management of all projects, and leading the team in process improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost reductions. A strategic thinker is essential, as the role also involves shaping and executing the business strategy in collaboration with other senior leaders. Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a proven track record in project management, a strong knowledge of performance management systems, and a solid understanding of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing practices. Certification in either or both is preferred. The role requires excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at inspiring, motivating, and guiding teams towards achieving operational excellence, and will ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
